Senior IT Applications Administrator – Workday

Position Responsibilities 

• Configure and support packaged applications based on business requirements to include Workday, Adaptive Insight, Perceptive Content, Jira, Confluence, IIR, SendSuite, Sage Fixed Assets, Billtrust, Chrome River, and Blue Prism (RPA).

• Document technical specifications and test plans to support applications.

• Build, test, implement and maintain system configuration and integrations.

• Evaluate new software versions, enhancements and plan for upgrades.

• Manage and diagnose issues through ticket management and on-call support.

• Acts as a mentor for the application administrator team.

• In partnership with the Software Development Manager, manage and prioritize application team’s work.

• Partner with key businesses to define new business process, data elements and system change requests.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

• 3-5+ years’ experience supporting packaged applications in a corporate or consulting capacity.

• Experience with Workday preferred.

• Familiarity with SQL / RDBMS and Sharepoint.

• Familiarity with at least one programming language. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
