Position Responsibilities

• Manage Team Leads and their direct reports as well as Senior Exemption Analyst(s) or specialized functions as needed.

• Develop Team Leads by conducting regular check-ins, auditing work and providing consistent feedback or coaching.

• Prepare, review and deliver year-end performance evaluations.

• Submit merit and compensation recommendations.

• Oversee the recruiting process and conduct interviews.

• Provide guidance to staff on tax concepts as well as interpretation of tax rules and regulations.

• Collaborate with Tax Managers to adjust processes according to audit findings or regulation updates.

• Lead by example and maintain high morale across the department.

• Audit department processes and identify areas for improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Prior people leadership and customer service experience.

• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
