Uline is searching for experienced, courteous and diligent Senior Accounts Receivable Specialists to join our Finance team of nearly 200 professionals.

In this role, you will have hands-on interaction managing a portfolio of customers throughout North America. You will work with our customers, gathering insight on how the business can better support them.

You will be expected to have prior call center experience, along with good customer service acumen and the ability to communicate in a pleasant, helpful and courteous manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills plus be bilingual in English and Spanish.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a portfolio of customers throughout North America; manage their needs and requests.
  • Correspond with a minimum of 100 customers daily.
  • Minimize bad debt exposure, maintain aging at an acceptable level.
  • Research delinquent accounts.
  • Determine reasons for overdue payments and negotiate resolutions within Uline guidelines.
  • Bring late accounts up to current status.
  • Educate customers on keeping their accounts current.
  • Identify process improvements.
  • Assist leadership with ad-hoc reports and special projects.
  • Help train and mentor team members.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous call center experience.
  • Excellent negotiating skills.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus.
  • Pleasant, helpful and courteous demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
