Position Responsibilities 

  • Prepare, coordinate, and distribute employee benefits information to communicate benefit programs, changes and comply with legal requirements. 

  • Work with carriers, employees and branch Human Resources to respond to employee questions, investigate and resolve issues from routine to complex and ensure proper administration of employee benefits and leave programs.

  • Audit Uline and carrier systems to ensure benefit enrollments and payroll deductions are accurate.  Process any corrections in a timely manner.

  • Monitor benefit administration within HRIS and work with appropriate partners to troubleshoot and update configuration and integrations as appropriate.

  • Coordinate and manage various benefit events such as financial wellness education, health screenings, 401(k) meetings, annual 401(k) audit and annual enrollment.

  • Create, maintain and follow benefit procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency of processes.

  • Complete various benefit administration tasks such as reconciling benefit invoices, reviewing and filing employee documentation and responding to requests for information.

  • Administer activities to maintain compliance with the Affordable Care Act such as monitoring full-time status, producing annual 1095 / 1094 reporting and handling other federal and state reporting.

  • Prepare and complete various benefit surveys and provide summary of findings and recommendations to management.

  • Participate in the preparation of Uline's annual Total Reward Statements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field.

  • 2+ years experience in human resources or office environment.

  • Knowledge of Federal, State and local regulations and requirements.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

  • Workday experience preferred.

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
