Position Responsibilities 

  • Design moderately complex databases, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers and other database objects.

  • Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) solutions.

  • Optimize database performance through several techniques including indexing, query optimization, database design and infrastructure health.

  • Participate in periodic High Availability / Disaster Recovery tests of critical systems.

  • Upgrade and patch DBMS’s (Database Management Systems).

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Database Management / Data Integration.

  • Proficient in one or more Database Management Systems (e.g. DB2i, DB2 LUW, DataStax, Oracle, SQL Server).

  • Familiar with one or more replication technologies (e.g. DataGuard, CDC, SQL Replication, Attunity).

  • Familiar with Infrastructure technology to include Linux, server, storage and/or Oracle-engineered systems (IE Exadata, ZFS).

  • Ability to read a Logical Data Model.
