JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Spanish Translation Specialists (Tech. Publications Writers) for Pleasant Prairie, WI location. Coordinate, facilitate and communicate the assembly of complex technical product and content for online and printed materials in Spanish (Mexico) and English. Proofread and conduct quality control of translated materials, relying on reference sources and technical staff to ensure accuracy. Prepare technical translations and reports regarding product-related issues, conduct website content analyses and comparisons. Translate online copy and printed materials including Uline’s 800+ page catalog. Proofread translated copy to ensure content, spelling, grammar, style, and tone accuracy, while maintaining the original meaning. Coordinate with translation system vendor to facilitate the resolution of translation issues. Develop, write, and maintain online procedure guides and technical content databases.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  

Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Communication Science, or related field plus 1 year experience with English to Spanish translations required. Required/Specific Skills: Must have technical knowledge of shipping products; must speak, read, and write professional level Spanish. Must pass employer administered translation test.
