JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Software Development Managers for Pleasant Prairie, WI. Lead team of software developers to design scalable software. Plan and manage the development, maintenance, and support of software business solutions. Manage day to day operations of IT software development area, including web/e-commerce team. Develop, implement, and maintain a team organization that ensures skills and capacity for multiple projects and enhancement work, while providing superior support for production applications. Partner with software architects, product owners, and software engineers to drive the implementation of new applications. Work to modernize our existing tech stacks. Ensure sound practices and processes are used by Application Development for implementing custom developed and packaged solutions on time and budget. Lead the planning and implementation of large, complex work efforts. Maintain productive management level relationships with the company’s business functions and communicate technical information. Ensure production systems are performing well and operating without defects. Act as central point of contact for application software vendors. Technical Environment: .NET, VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET; Java, MVC, Entity Framework, HTML, XML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery; RPG; JSON, Angular, Angular JS, VBScript, LINQ, SQL Server, T-SQL; SQL queries, stored procedures; Web Services, WCF, RESTful Services, Git, TFS; DataStax; NoSQL; CI/CD, Jenkins, Dynatrace, SSIS, SSRS, SSMS, Telerik Controls, Kendo UI, NUnit; Waterfall, Agile/Scrum.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or any Engineering or Information Technology field plus 8 years of progressive experience as a Software Developer or with software development required. Required skills: Experience developing, managing and implementing custom and packaged software application solutions including for e-commerce sites; Waterfall & Agile Scrum development processes; demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in multi-project environment; software development experience using .NET technologies (VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET); Java, MVC; T-SQL, writing SQL queries and stored procedures; Angular, AngularJS, JQuery, RPG, JavaScript; SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, TFS, Git, CI/CD, Jenkins; DataStax, NoSQL; experience communicating technical information to technical and non-technical audiences; mentoring & leading IT team. Must be willing to be on POC rotation.
