Uline seeks summer 2023 Industrial Automation Interns at its Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

Position Responsibilities 

• Conduct rotational-based training with Uline's seasoned engineers.

• Evaluate new technologies (robots, automation, AGVs, etc.) and determine how they can be applied within Uline operations.

• Travel to multiple Uline locations to install and calibrate material handling equipment, perform technical maintenance and service on equipment and make recommendations for improvements based on data through observations.

• Analyze and report on a variety of machine performance metrics.

• Review and update programs used to control automation to include new features.

• Complete other assigned projects as necessary.

Minimum Requirements 

• Candidates must be pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master’s degree in a relevant program. 

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Passionate about all aspects of engineering.

• PLC experience or programming a plus.

• Microsoft Office, Word, Access and Excel experience.

• Excellent organizational and team player skills.

• Hands-on mechanical and electrical experience a plus.

• Some evening or weekend work may be required.
