Job Title: Sr. IT Quality Assurance Analyst
Duties: Uline, Inc. seeks a Sr. IT Quality Assurance Analyst in Waukegan, Illinois to conduct quality assurance for software applications and systems. Initiate, plan, and execute quality assurance (QA) activities related to software applications and system implementation projects. Perform and coordinate testing efforts for multiple projects and software releases, including integration, system, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing. Develop, execute, and maintain test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts. Document and evaluate test results and defects, track defects, and work with development team to troubleshoot issues. Develop test schedules, environment, and configuration requirements for testing activities. Provide testing estimates for resourcing, level of efforts, and timelines for assigned projects. Utilize Postman tool to perform API testing. Write SQL code to test software application values. Build testing frameworks using Agile Scrum methodologies. Establish traceability of requirements through test plans and cases. Provide functionality demonstrations to the business team to start UAT testing. Identify, define, track, and report QA metrics and KPIs. Coordinate and monitor defect tracking activities and ensure proper utilization by assigned projects. Provide input on go and no-go decision for production release. Monitor and communicate the QA status to the leadership team. Build and maintain tests to be automated and identify candidates for automation. Annual salary: $116,380
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (employer willing to accept 3- or 4-year degree) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field plus five years of quality assurance experience with each of the following: 1. Performing integration, system, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing; 2. Developing, executing, and maintaining test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts; 3. Writing SQL code to test software application values; 4. Building testing frameworks using Agile Scrum methodologies; and 5. Identifying, defining, tracking, and reporting QA metrics and KPIs. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
