Position Responsibilities
- Meet daily with the Landscape Maintenance Manager to discuss tasks and potential action items.
- Gain hands-on experience in inspecting company grounds, making sure all areas are Uline-ready on a daily basis.
- Inspect all plant material for overall health and vigor.
- Work in conjunction with contractors to learn and understand the Uline way in horticulture, arboriculture, fertilization and fungicide application principles.
- Learn the basics behind storm water irrigation vs. domestic irrigation.
- Work closely with management in the auditing process of ground and irrigation systems.
- Shadow management with on-going construction projects as they work with contractors to achieve results.
Minimum Requirements
- Seeking a career in landscape maintenance management.
- Experience in Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
- High-energy, self-motivated team player with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
