POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the design and development of software applications.
  • Provide technical leadership and lead software system design and documentation.
  • Create software development task estimates based on project functional scope and technical requirements.
  • Use solution delivery expertise in API Strategy, API Management, and API design.
  • Assist with assembling software development estimates and budgets.
  • Act as a mentor for team members and junior software developers.
  • Technical environment: Jquery, Json, Mybatis, Hibernate, Eclipse, JAVA, J2EE, Javascript, Scrum, UML, JSP, SOAP/REST Webservices, AJAX, JMS, MQ, Junit, Agile, Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Enterprise software design, Maven, JMS, MQ, XML, SQL,PL/SQL, WebSphere Rational Application Developer (WRAD), Team Foundation Server (TFS), Git, Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) including Jenkins, Angular, Microsoft Visio, IBM Websphere, client-server architecture, relational/NoSql database design, stored procedures, ELK (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana), Terracotta Eh Cache, Postman, SonarQube, Apache Solr, JMeter, Apache Cassandra, Datastax, IntelliJ, REST solutions, micro-services architecture.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • *Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any Engineering field or Technology plus two years of experience in the job offered or software development required.
  • Required Skills: Java, Jquery, Javascript, Mybatis, Hibernate, client-server architecture, relational/NoSql database design, stored procedures, SQL, Git, CI/CD (Jenkins), Angular, Eclipse, TFS, AJAX, Spring, Spring Boot, Enterprise software design, Maven, JMS, MQ, Junit, Agile.
  • Travel to Uline sites required.
  • (*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any Engineering field or Technology plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or in software development also acceptable.)
