Position Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical support to enable team members to make educated, well-informed business decisions.
  • Prepare recommendations to support the Purchasing department's continuous improvement.
  • Utilize existing and / or develop new tools to automate manual tasks and increase labor efficiencies.
  • Create metrics to measure purchasing effectiveness and improvement opportunities.
  • Document process flows and procedures for purchasing and forecasting functions.
  • Analyze inventory levels and demand trends to ensure products are always in stock.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1+ year experience in data mining and analytics using SQL, VBA, Access, R or other programming languages.
  • Experience in purchasing, supply chain management, demand forecasting or related field a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
