Position Responsibilities
  • Purchase, negotiate and maintain inventory for all overseas products.
  • Develop, direct and maintain demand plans for key categories.
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics on overseas lead times and recommend corrective action.
  • Analyze, calculate and monitor product stock levels.
  • Build, create and monitor container POs, meeting specific load and shipping requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relations with international suppliers plus Uline Merchandising, Logistics and Global Sourcing teams.
  • Resolve problems and expedite deliveries on key products.
  • Develop monthly item level forecasts to assist vendors in planning production.
  • Reconcile and coordinate vendor return issues with Quality and Marketing departments.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 8+ years purchasing / inventory management experience.
  • Proficiency with AS400 and Microsoft Office.
