Position Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of a Corporate Purchasing team including performance management and development.
  • Lead a team of buyers to ensure distribution centers are always in stock, fulfilling branch needs at a high service level.
  • Identify changing sales trends and collaborate with Demand Planning team to attain forecast accuracy.
  • Partner with Product Management team to solve vendor issues, vendor changes and potential product additions.
  • Establish strong working relationships with key vendors.
  • Recruit, retain, motivate, and mentor Purchasing staff to achieve purchasing goals.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7 years of purchasing and / or inventory management experience.
  • 5 years of experience managing and leading a team.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • JDA demand and fulfilment experience a plus.
