Position Responsibilities

  • Lead Uline's Inventory Control staff across all branch locations.

  • Manage Uline's Corporate Inventory Control Analytical and Admin staff.

  • Monitor the Cycle Counting process and efforts across all locations, including the reporting and analysis of the Cycle Counting process.

  • Report, monitor and review all inventory adjustments and changes at branch locations, including root cause analysis support.

  • Make on-site visits to audit and train personnel at branch locations on inventory control practices and procedures.

  • Recommend process, policy, and procedure changes to Uline's Director of Inventory Control.

  • Work with Uline's Branch Inventory Control Managers to ensure all inventory discrepancies, problem orders, and intercompany transfer issues are resolved in order to reduce backorder rates and inventory shrink.

  • Work with Uline's Branch and Distribution Center (DC) Management to reduce inventory shrink, including inventory loss due to order fulfilment errors, lost product, theft, damages and product rejected during the returns process.

  • Work with Uline's Quality Control department to resolve quality control issues.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 5 - 10 years experience in inventory, distribution, and operational procedures.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.

  • Proven experience leading other managers.

  • Excellent time management, organizational and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to travel to Uline's domestic and international locations.
