• Organize and delegate team responsibilities to ensure that invoices are paid accurately and on time while maintaining metrics and achieving annual goals.

• Audit and reconcile Accounts Payable Specialist invoice batches.

• Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies and address concerns requiring a higher level of intervention.

• Review the payment hold report to ensure timely vendor payments.

• Answer vendor inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns.

• Review and audit weekly/monthly reports and general ledger accounts and descriptions for accuracy and consistency.

• Audit processes for inconsistencies, improvements, and efficiencies.

• Complete month-end tasks including accrual reports and account reconciliations.

• Provide training, coaching and career development insights for Accounts Payable Specialists.

Minimum Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance preferred.

• 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Oracle experience a plus.

• Previous leadership experience a plus.

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
